    6. Why do we use encryption?

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Please note that - subject to an explicit agreement and configuration - emails to us are sent unencrypted. If you wish to send confidential or sensitive information by e-mail, please contact us in advance to agree a secure method of data transmission.

    7. To whom is your data transmitted?

In connection with the provision, operation, optimisation and maintenance of our website, we work together with external processors . Our processors and recipients of the data are contractually bound.

The majority of our processors and partners are located within the EU-EEA or Switzerland. If, in exceptional cases, it is necessary to transfer your data to a third country outside the EU-EEA or Switzerland, this will only take place if there is an adequate level of data protection or if further guarantees can be used to ensure data protection.

    8. How long will your data be stored by us?

In principle, the data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. We store the personal data collected when you visit our website for a maximum period of 12 months. Storage beyond this period is possible after anonymisation in accordance with Art. 11 GDPR. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are anonymised so that it is no longer possible to identify the calling client.
